Google’s response about censoring Chinese site
Published by Jonathan January 29th, 2006 in Politics/NewsGoogle recently launched google.cn a Google search site for China. In doing so they complied to the demands of the Chinese government to censor certain search results. Many have criticised them for doing this so Andrew McLaughlin, a senior policy counsel for Google has responded on their blog with their reasons for doing so. It makes sense to me.
