Arriving Somewhere

On September 1, 2004 Chechen terrorists took an entire school hostage and in the resulting firefight with the Russian security forces many children and parents died.

PBS aired an episode this summer about the tragedy that I discussed previously.

A few days ago a visitor to my site left a URL for a website created by the Vice-Principal and other teachers of the school who were taken hostage. http://www.beslan.ru/index.php?lang_id=1 It hasn’t been updated since April, but is still very interesting.
